UM Offensive Lineman Transferring To UCLA

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Former University of Miami offensive lineman Malcolm Bunche has found a new school to finish his college football career, the University of California at Los Angeles.

Multiple reports Sunday stated the former starting offensive lineman for UM will transfer to UCLA. Bunche will join a talented offensive line in Los Angeles and a team that has taken over the city of Angels.

Bunche's father confirmed the reports of the transfer to CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald Monday morning.

Since Bunche has already graduated from UM and in graduate school, he will be allowed to play immediately in 2014 for the UCLA Bruins. He'll join a talented, but young offensive line that includes Simon Goines and Torian White.

Bunche (6'7", 327 pounds) started for UM in 2012, but fell out of favor with the coaching staff last season and ended up starting just one game in 2013.
