BAL HARBOUR (CBSMiami) – Two titans of the design world, one in real estate development and the other art, have brought their talents to South Florida.

Eduardo Costantini is unveiling Oceana, a 28-story luxury residence in Bal Harbour.

Jeffrey Koons, known as today's most prolific and expensive artist in the world, is unveiling two of his sculptures gracing the grounds of this high-end ocean front development.

"Eduardo came and visited my studio and said, 'Jeff, this could be very special for my project I'm working on in Miami.' And he showed me some designs on how things would be laid out and I realized a special opportunity," Koons said.

Costantini added, "He's a global artist and he knows the history, so his pieces are like a synthesis of the past looking at the future."

At the front entrance sits the sculpture titled "Pluto and Prosperina."

This gold mirrored polished sculpture toured some of the top museums around the world, including the Whitney and Guggenheim.

The other the is called "The Seated Ballerina."

"It is potential… it's really a sense of future. It's seductive. It embraces the past, but very much has a look to the future," said Koons.

With units that start at $2 million on up to $30 million for the penthouse, Koon's creations seem to feel most at home in their new setting.

"I think that Oceana is timeless now. It's such an amazing platform and the experience of the works  here. It's very, very special," said Koons.

Those that purchase a unit at Oceana receive a percentage of the ownership of the two Koons sculptures on premises.
