Three South Florida Banks Robbed Just Hours Apart

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Three South Florida banks were robbed Friday.  Two in the morning and another in the afternoon.

One of the robberies appears to possibly have the same subject.

Federal officials released pictures of the robberies.

The first happened at a Homestead bank at 8:53 a.m.

The robber walked into a TD Bank branch located at  2495 NE 8th Street and demanded money from an employee.

Less than an hour later, a man walked into a the Wells Fargo Bank  in Miami at 9:27 a.m.

The third robbery took place at 3:30 in the afternoon at the Regions Bank at 1490 NW 3rd Avenue in Miami.

Both robbers got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured in either robbery.

Federal Bureau of Investigation officials are asking anyone who recognizes either robber to call the FBI at (305) 944-9101 or Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS.
