Two People Hospitalized In Davie House Fire

DAVIE (CBSMiami) -- A house fire in Davie sent two people to the hospital and claimed the life of their pet.

Davie Fire Rescue responded to the scene Thursday afternoon at S.W. 133rd Terrace and 6th Place.

Officials said when they arrived, the fire was going strong and the two victims were already outside. They were taken to Broward General Hospital in unknown condition.

A dog was found dead inside.

Investigators are looking into what sparked the blaze.
