Hundreds Of Shoes Scattered After Truck Overturns On Turnpike

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Hundreds of shoes scattered the lanes of  Florida's Turnpike after a truck overturned Friday afternoon.

It all happened in Miami Gardens near NW 199th Street.

Chopper4 was over the scene where authorities had blocked the southbound lanes.

Two people could be seen on back boards near the scene.

A number of other items could be seen scattered like back packs and luggage.

It is unclear what caused the incident.
