Turkeys Donated To Families Across South Florida

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- Families across South Florida were given a helping hand for the holidays this year.

In Hialeah Gardens, the Latin American Business Association donated 500 turkeys at the Hollingsworth Hall Senior Center at 10003 NW 87th Avenue in Hialeah for their annual Thanksgiving Giveaway.

In North Lauderdale, 40 turkeys were given out at the city hall at 701 Southwest 71st Avenue.

Families were joined by Mayor Jack Brady as well as other city leaders for the giveaway Sunday afternoon.
