Trump Takes On Another Indiana Manufacturer Moving To Mexico

WASHINGTON (CBSMiami) — President-elect Trump has taken on another Indiana manufacturer with plans to move to Mexico and fire American workers.

On Friday, Trump tweeted about Rexnord, an industrial company with a factory in Indianapolis.

Rexnord Bearings operates near the Carrier Corporation plant, heating and air conditioning company.

On Thursday, Trump touted a deal he made with Carrier brass to save roughly 800 to 1,000 jobs in exchange for about $7 million in state tax breaks and grants.

Trump told employees at Carrier, "Companies are not going to leave the United States anymore without consequences."

Many details are still unknown about the deal. Federal officials, briefed by Carrier, suggested that hundreds may still end up losing their jobs.
