Truck Rollover On Turnpike Causes Major Tie-Ups

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) -- Drivers on Florida's Turnpike faced some major traffic tie-ups after a truck rollover crash Tuesday morning.

Florida Highway Patrol says the truck, carrying mulch, rolled over while on the southbound lanes at Hollywood Boulevard around 10 a.m.

Rescue crews took three people to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

At last check, the southbound Turnpike was backed up from Hollywood Boulevard all the way to I-595 as crews worked to clear the crash.

Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes either through I-95 or I-75.

It remains unclear what caused the crash or if any other cars were involved.
