Tropical Storm Fay To Near Bermuda

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Tropical Storm Fay moved closer to Bermuda Saturday night bringing rain to the island.

At 11 p.m., the center of the system was about 95 miles south of Bermuda with maximum sustained winds of 70 mph. It was moving to the north at 17 mph.

A hurricane watch was issued for Bermuda in addition to a tropical storm warning.

The National Hurricane Center said the storm will increase in speed and take a gradual turn to the northeast. The center of Fay is expected to pass to the southeast and east of Bermuda late Saturday.

Fay is expected to produce up to four inches of rain across Bermuda.
