Edouard Becomes Fourth Hurricane Of Atlantic Season
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Hurricane Edouard formed over the Central Atlantic on Sunday.
At 11:00 p.m., Hurricane Edouard was located about 835 miles east-northeast of the Northern Leeward Islands with maximum sustained winds of 85 miles per hour.
It's moving toward the northwest near 15 mph.
Hurricane Edouard should continue toward the northwest at a slightly slower forward speed by Monday.
There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect .

Hurricane Edouard is the fifth named tropical storm of the current Atlantic hurricane season and the fourth hurricane.
The last time that name was used was in 2008, when Tropical Storm Edouard came ashore in Texas. The storm was blamed for one death and minor coastal flooding.
