Tropical Storm Dolly Moves Ashore South Of Tampico

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The center of Tropical Storm Dolly moved ashore just south of Tampico, Mexico Tuesday evening.

At 11 p.m., the center of the system was about 25 miles south-southeast of Tampico, Mexico. Dolly's sustained maximum winds were 45 mph as it moved to the west at 9 mph.

A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect from Cabo Rojo to Boca De Catan, Mexico.

The National Hurricane Center said  Dolly's westward motion is expected to continue for the next day or so.

The center of Dolly will move inland over northeastern Mexico through Wednesday.
