Troopers: Teen Struck By Car While Heading To School Bus

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (CBSMiami/AP) —A teen was hit by car while crossing the street to get to a school bus, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened about 6:40 a.m. Thursday near Kissimmee.

Troopers say the teen was taken to an Orlando hospital in critical condition.

According to troopers, the school bus was coming to a stop with its amber lights on when a Nissan struck the boy.

The names of the teen or the driver of the vehicle have not been released.

An investigation continues.
