Trapped Husky Freed By Miami-Dade Rescue Crews

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Man's best friend has the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to thank after being freed from a peculiar predicament.

Technical crews were able to breach a concrete wall in order to rescue a trapped dog. (Source: Miami-Dade Fire Rescue)

The husky was discovered trapped between a wooden fence and concrete wall at 18395 S.W. 138th Court in Miami on Friday.

After assessing the situation, the department's Technical Rescue Team was able to breach through the wall and free the dog.

Officials said the animal wasn't hurt and in healthy condition.

The lucky dog was named Tundra by Miami-Dade Animal Services. She does not have a chip, they said.
