Top Performers From The Dolphins Week 16 Loss To The Colts

It's seems like ages since the Miami Dolphins, under brand new interim coach Dan Campbell, won back-to-back games to reach the .500 mark with a 3-3 record.

In the weeks since, Miami has lost seven of their last nine games and head into the final week of the season with a 5-10 record.

It isn't necessarily a bad thing though, as many fans will agree that if your team isn't going to make the playoffs the best thing that can happen is getting the highest draft pick possible.

Currently the Dolphins would be picking sixth in the first round and it's possible for them to move into the top 5 with a loss on Sunday and some help.

Shifting focus back to Miami's last game, it was another offensive struggle due in large part to the struggles of the offensive line.

The defense again held its own but overall the effort just wasn't good enough on either side of the ball.

Here are the top performers from the Dolphins loss to the Colts.

Jarvis Landry

For three quarters Landry was kept quiet, rendered a virtual non-factor in the game.  Then just like that he began making play after play and finished the game with seven catches for 111 yards, a 15.9 yards per reception average.  He also made a ridiculous one-handed catch that rivals the one made by Odell Beckham Jr. last season.

Landry became the first Dolphins player to catch 100 passes in a season and the ninth to reach the 1,000 yard plateau.

Ndamukong Suh

Another game in which the stat sheet doesn't give justice to game played by Suh.  He was a force at the line of scrimmage and was constantly in the Colts backfield, though he finished with just three tackles including a sack.

DeVante Parker

Slowly but surely the rookie wideout is starting to show why he was a coveted first round pick.  He made four receptions for 93 yards including a 49-yard catch where he made a great adjustment on the ball.

Reshad Jones

Jones had another 'all over the field' game, tying for the team lead with six tackles, one for a loss, and a pass defended.  He almost came up with a pair of interceptions as well.
