Top Miami Recruit: 'I Didn't Commit To No Damn Coach!'

Sam Bruce, widely regarded as one of the top senior prospects in the country and a jewel of Miami's 2016 recruiting class, is not wavering on his commitment to the University of Miami in wake of Al Golden's firing.

Despite the St. Thomas Aquinas receiver essentially having his pick of the nation's top programs -- from Alabama to Ohio State -- he showed his allegiance to the U on Twitter late Sunday night.

Bruce then clarified his commitment would remain firm as long as Miami's receivers coach Kevin Beard, a former Canes wideout himself, remained at the school.

With Miami at least a month out from naming their next head coach, other coaches from across the country will be gunning for Miami's top commitments. It remains to be seen whether the cream of Miami's crop -- a class currently ranked No. 8 in the country by Yahoo Sports -- will stay as firm as Bruce.
