Also known as the Miami Craft Beer Festival, Grovetoberfest takes place on October 15, 2016. This fun festival showcases the best craft beer throughout South Florida as well as offering plenty of beers brewed around the country and globe. Ticket prices range from $40 to $90 depending on which 'level' ticket you buy. Please note this event is only open to those who are 21 or older. The 12th annual Oakland Park Oktoberfest, presented by Funky Buddha Brewery, takes place on Sept. 30 through Oct. 2. Oktoberfest is an annual fall festival and celebrates German culture. The Oakland Park Oktoberfest will have everything from authentic German-style beers and food to live German music, as well as tons of fun activities like stein races, an apple strudel eating contest and Bavarian folk dancers. Taking place on Oct. 21 through 23, the Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival is sure to get South Florida residents and visitors in the fall spirit. The fall fun includes: a pumpkin patch, carnival for all ages, corn and hay bale maze, pumpkin food court and beer bars and much more. A 1 day entrance fee ticket is $15 for ages 2 and up (under 2 is free) or families can purchase a 'WonderFALL Family 4 Pack' which is $60 for four general admission tickets. No South Florida festival list would be complete without a seafood festival. The 4th annual South Beach Seafood Festival, also known as SOBE Seafood Festival, takes place on October 22, 2016 from 12 to 7 p.m. with an VIP Ticket Extended Party following the festival until 11 p.m. SOBE Seafood Festival will showcase food from 17 local restaurants, including CJ's Crab Shack, Poseidon, A Fish Called Avalon, Joe's Stone Crabs and many more. In addition to serving food there will also be live music, a Whole Foods demo zone, beer garden, and of course the beach. General admission tickets are $35 and VIP tickets are $150. Taking place at Flamingo Gardens, the Harvest Festival is a very fitting fall festival to add to the South Florida fall festivals list. It will take place Oct. 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 & 30, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Opening weekend of the festival will include their 7th Annual Great Scarecrow Contest. The fall festival includes tons of seasonal fun from hayrides to pumpkin patches as well as plenty pumpkin and fall inspired crafts, activities and games.
