TMZ: Pitt Under Investigation For Child Abuse

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Stunning new details are coming out about the split between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

TMZ is reporting Pitt is under investigation by the LAPD for allegedly getting verbally abusive and physical with his children.

However, the LAPD is denying there's an investigation.

TMZ cites anonymous sources as saying the couple and their kids were on a flight last Wednesday when he allegedly got wasted on the private jet, and started screaming and getting physical.

TMZ says Brad and Angelina have already been interviewed by the Department of Children and Family Services.
