AUGUSTA (CBSMiami/AP) — The most recognizable name in golf is making his much anticipated return to a major event.

Never mind that Tiger Woods hasn't played in nearly two months and hasn't won the Masters in 10 years.

He says his game is back in order and he expects to be wearing another green jacket at the end of the week.

In his first news conference since he withdrew after 11 holes on Feb. 5 at Torrey Pines, Woods said Tuesday winning remains his greatest motivation.

Woods started the year with a career-high 82 in the Phoenix Open and an inability to chip.

He says he worked from sunrise to sunset at home in Florida, at times so frustrated he hurled a few clubs.

But he says he stuck with it and reached a point that he could compete at the highest level.
