FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - It will be a trifecta of airborne thrills when the Fort Lauderdale Air Show takes to the sky next year.

Organizers have announced that the big headliners of the 2016 show will be the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the Canadian Air Force Snowbirds and the Breitling Jet Team from France.

The show, which will coincide with the annual Fleet Week, will be held May 7th and 8th on Ft. Lauderdale beach.

The best spot to watch the show is on the beach from Sunrise Boulevard north to NW 14th Court.

Organizers say those who want to be right in the middle of the action can purchase a ticket for "Drop Zone Beach" which will put them at the 'aerial 50 yard line' for all the action. Those tickets are $24 per day through December 14th.

For those who want the full experience, VIP tickets are available. They include reserved box seating, private beach area, lunch, water and soft drinks, restrooms and reserved parking at Birch State Park. The intro price for these tickets is $125 per day through December 14.
