Three Suspicious Males Arrested In Coral Gables

CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) – Three males have been arrested in Coral Gables on charges of loitering and prowling.

Early Saturday morning Coral Gables Police Officers observed three suspicious men, one adult and two minors, on bicycles at the 1300 block of Cortez Street.

The adult subject, Javier Martinez, told officers that they were 'car jumping' in the area.

Officers recovered unidentified property in the possession of all three subjects.

They were arrested and charged accordingly.

Martinez, 19, was transported to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. The two other subjects were transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center.

Authorities are continuing to investigate if any of the subjects are linked to additional crimes in the city.
