Two Injured In Lauderhill Shooting

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - No one was seriously injured after gunfire erupted in a Lauderhill parking lot.

Lauderhill police said at two people were shot in front of Cafe 54 located in a strip mall at 3100 W Broward Boulevard around 3 a.m.

A witness said the initial gunfire came from inside a car.

"A car pulled up to the bus stop and it was shooting out shots and they was going back and forth," said Jasmine Leeks. "People were running like animals, running crazy. They were trying to get away from the shots. They were running into the street and to their cars."

Police say they do not have a suspect in custody and have not released a description of the vehicle involved.
