Three Arrested In Hollywood Home Invasion

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) – Three people are behind bars, accused of tying up a couple and ransacking their home for goods.

Kenroy Gayle, 22, Kervens Rene, 20, and 19-year-old Denton Spencer were arrested Saturday.

On Saturday, around 4:30 AM, the victims, both 69-years-old, were awoken by three masked intruders. Two of the suspects, according to the Hollywood Police Department, were armed with handguns and demanded money.

The victims were tied up by the intruders who then ransacked the home. Police said they took cash, jewelry and electronics.

According to police, the investigation revealed the incident was planned and the victims were targeted by the suspects as two of the suspects were previously employed by the victims.

Detectives, police said, were able to obtain confessions from each of the suspects.

All three suspects are being held without bond at the Broward County Jail.
