Thousands Took On IronMan Triathlon In Miami

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Thousands laced up their running shoes, got their goggles and prepared their bikes for the annual IronMan triathlon in Miami.

An estimated 3,000 athletes from 62 different countries around the world came together to compete at this year's event.

Attendees started and finished the competition at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami.

The event started at 7:00 a.m. and ended at 4:00 p.m.

Magali Tisseyre and Michael Raelert got the title of triathlon champions.
