Temporary Ramp From SR 826 To SW 8th Street Opens Monday

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The opening of a new temporary ramp from State Road 826 to SW 8th Street takes place Monday morning.

The opening has been delayed since September due to recent rainfall.

When the new ramp is opened, drivers on southbound SR 826 going to SW 8 Street will need to exit a half mile earlier at the same ramp used to access West Flagler Street. Drivers not using the new exit will need to continue south and exit at Coral Way. This configuration is expected to be in place for approximately three to four weeks.

Drivers on westbound and eastbound SR 836 must use the West Flagler Street ramps to also access SW 8th Street.

In order to prepare for the opening of the new ramp, the following closures are:

The southbound SR 826 ramp to West Flagler Street will closed Saturday night and is to reopen on Monday, October 6 at 5:30 a.m.

Drivers can:
*Continue south on SR 826
*Exit at Coral Way, go east to access the northbound SR 826 ramp
*Exit at West Flagler Street

The southbound SR 826 ramp to SW 8 Street closed Sunday night at 10 p.m. and reopen on Monday, October 6 at 5:30 a.m.

Drivers can:
*Continue south on SR 826
*Exit at Coral Way, go east to access the northbound SR 826 ramp
*Exit at SW 8 Street
