MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A teenage boy who went missing after a woman was found dead in a Jacksonville home was picked up Sunny Isles Beach Tuesday night.

Police said the 14-year old was found with a Volvo SUV that the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office was looking for in connection to the woman's death. The car was found in the parking lot of a Publix store on Collins Avenue and 183rd Street.

Sunny Isles Beach police said they had the teen committed to a hospital for observation because of some of the things he told the officers who found him. Investigators from the Jacksonville plan to interview the teen Wednesday afternoon. No charges have been filed at this time.

Neighbors of the teen said it was his mother, Pam Daughtry, who was found dead in the family's home on Monument Ridge Drive, according to our CBS affiliate, WJAX-TV, in Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has not released the identity of the woman or said how she died. They did however say that foul play is suspected.

Jacksonville investigators said there was no sign of a break in at the home and are not sure, at this time, what exactly happened. They hope to have a better understanding after they get a chance to speak with the teen.
