JACKSONVILLE (CBSMiami/AP) — The vigil of a Florida teen killed ended with the death of an 18-year old and the injury of another teen.

Authorities say more than two dozen gathered Friday to honor 17-year-old Johnell Johnson, who was gunned down last month.

Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the quiet vigil turned deadly as shots rang out, killing an unidentified victim and sending another to the hospital. No details of the victim's condition were released.

First Coast News reports the shooting may be gang related. Authorities are interviewing witnesses and are also asking more to come forward.
