Teen Accused Of Posing As Doctor Offered Plea Deal

WEST PALM BEACH (CBSMiami) -- A teenager accused of impersonating a doctor was in Palm Beach court Wednesday for a plea hearing.
Malachi Love-Robinson, 18, was offered a reduced 3-year prison sentence, including five years probation, following his arrest for allegedly practicing medicine without a license and ripping off patients, as reported by the Palm Beach Post.

He could face up to 8 years prison time if convicted, an assistant state attorney said.
In February, Love-Robinson was arrested following a raid by police at his West Palm Beach alternative medicine practice.
The teen has since denied all wrongdoing.
According to the Palm Beach Post, Love-Robinson received a Ph.D from the online institution, Universal Life Church Seminary, where doctorates in divinity, including bachelor's and master's of divinity degrees, can be purchased for under $30.
He faces eight counts of fraud, as well as charges of grand theft and practicing medicine without a license.
