TD #2 Expected To Weaken As It Approaches Lesser Antilles

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Tropical Depression Two is expected to weaken as it approaches the Lesser Antilles.

At 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, the center of the system was located about 800 miles east of the Lesser Antilles.

Maximum sustained winds were holding at 35 mph as the storm moved to west at 18 mph.

There are no watches or warnings posted for this storm.

The National Hurricane Center reports there is little change in strength expected through Thursday but the system is expected to fall apart as it encounters dry air.
