Tannenbaum: Dan Campbell Era Has Been 'Very Encouraging'

Has the Miami Dolphins' general manager liked what he's seen so far in the Dan Campbell Era?

"It's very encouraging," Mike Tannenbaum said on Hochman, Crowder and Krantz. "Practices have been very competitive. You keep hearing the words fun and compete and finish. It's been great. Now with that said, that has to carry over from the practice field to Sundays so there's still a lot work to be done but in terms of where we're sitting here Thursday afternoon, yeah, we're encouraged.

"There is certainly a lot of mixed feelings. You know the personal side where you feel awful but the professional side which is hey let's go. We have a chance to get a lot done here. We have a new leader, and we're gonna support him, and he's gonna fill this building with hope, energy and optimism and that's what he's done. Yeah, it's been a long 10 days but Sunday can't get here soon enough."
