Tampa Man Crushed By Forklift

TAMPA (CBSMiami/AP) - A worker at a Tampa steel supply company has died after being crushed by a forklift.

The incident occurred early Thursday at Infra-Metals when 51-year-old Ricardo McCalop was operating a forklift, said the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

McCalop was using the forklift to move a heavy steel beam. The beam McCalop was transporting bumped into another pile of beams, which caused the forklift to tip over and crush him, officials said.
