The sports world has always stepped up and done its part to help pick up the fragmented pieces following any national tragedy.

Sitting 84 miles away from Orlando, The Tampa Bay Rays announced in a release Tuesday that it would be dedicating its annual "Pride Night" to the victims of the mass shooting in Orlando – giving 100 percent of the proceeds from remaining tickets sold for Friday's game against the San Francisco Giants to the Pulse Victims Fund.

Beginning Tuesday, all open tickets will be available for $5 and parking will also be $5 in all team-controlled lots.

The organization also announced that it would be handing out "We Are Orlando" t-shirts at the game, host a blood drive Friday and Saturday, have extra donation centers around the ballpark and donate proceeds from the team's daily 50/50 raffle to the Pulse Victims Fund.

Fans wishing to make financial donations to the Pulse Victims Fund may do so through its GoFundMe account (www.gofundme.com/PulseVictimsFund).
