SW Florida Boy Drowns In Pool

LEHIGH ACRES (CBSMiami/AP) — A southwest Florida family is mourning the death of a 4-year-old boy who drowned over the weekend in a swimming pool.

The child was found floating in the pool of a home in Lehigh Acres Sunday afternoon.

The apparently climbed on a lawn chair to get over the pool fence, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office.

He was taken to Lehigh Regional Medical Center where he died a short time later.
