'Suspicious' Package In Miami Beach Deemed Safe

MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) -- Authorities have deemed a suspicious package in Miami Beach safe.

Earlier, police had shut down parts of Miami Beach during their investigation.

Around 5 p.m., Miami Beach Police had closed off traffic in the area of 5th Street and Washington Avenue.

About 30 minutes later, they deemed the are clear and reopened it.
