Super Bowl Watch Party Buzzing At Mary Brickell Village

BRICKELL (CBSMiami) – Mary Brickell Village is packed for Super Bowl XLIX.

People got a chance to play a little toss the ball and dunk the beauty in the tank for the pregame. There was even a super-sized Jenga game set up.

But everyone was really there for the big game.

A majority of people CBS4's Travell Eiland spoke with and hoping that the Seahawks go down in Sunday's contest.

"I am kind of rooting for Tom Brady and the Patriots. Man, I really think this is their year. I am really feeling optimistic about it," said event organizer Angel Sanchez.

However, Eiland found one Seahawk supporter in a sea of Patriot fans.

"It doesn't matter baby. It's Miami Dolphins' territory, so we are rooting against the patriots," said Seahawk supporter Alex Valea.

Patriot supporters were ready for any "Deflate-Gate" questions.

"No comment. Bill Belichick-style no comment. No comment," said Patriots fan Jermaine Jordan.

Either way, there will be plenty of action.

The two number one seeds facing off and both teams are chasing history.

The Seahawks are gunning for the chance to be the first team to have consecutive Super Bowl wins since the Patriots did it 10 years ago. And Patriots' Tom Brady and Bill Belichick and trying to take home a fourth Super Bowl ring.
