Stunning Weekend Ahead

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The forecast for Friday looks great for South Florida with high temperatures landing near 70 degrees.

It will be sunny for most of the day with winds out of the north at 10-15 miles per hour.

However, a cold front will slide down the state through the day and bring some increased cloud cover.

Friday night, lows will drop into the upper 40s inland and the lower 50s around the coastal communities.

Boating will be a bit rough with winds out of the north and northeast at about 20 knots with seas at 5 to 7 feet.  There will be a moderate chop on the bays.  A small craft advisory is in effect.

The weekend looks great with high temperatures warming through the weekend.  The high Saturday will be in the middle 70s with lots of sunshine.

By Sunday, highs will be in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees with more sun.

Another cold front is forecast to arrive late next week and bring another round of chilly temperatures to the region with lows in the 40s again.
