Student Accused Of Using Other Users' AA Frequent Flyer Miles

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A foreign student living in South Florida is accused using other people's frequent flyer miles.

Milad Avazdavani is accused of fraudulently accessing other people's American Airlines Frequent Flyer accounts and booking trips under his name.

On some occasions, he would sell the tickets for $200 each, according to authorities.

Other times he would allegedly use the miles to stay in hotels, including at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort and Spa.

A judge ordered Avazdavani  on Wednesday to be held on a $117,500 bond.
