Spotty Showers Saturday

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – It will be a warm day across South Florida with a few showers off and on throughout the day.

Highs Saturday afternoon will reach 81 to 85 degrees. Winds will be out of the east to southeast for most of the day.

A stalled frontal boundary to the north of Lake Okeechobee will spur a few showers during the afternoon hours.

The day will not be a "wash out".

That front will swing south late in the evening and move through South Florida by Sunday.

A few showers will remain for Sunday with a high closer to 80 degrees.

Nicer weather will be around for the start of the work week.

Late in the week, a stronger cold front will sweep through South Florida bringing another shower chance and some slightly cooler temperatures.
