South Miami Coppers Have Arrest Warrant For "Choppa"

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - South Miami police have asked for the public's help in finding a man they say killed two people and injured a third late last year.

On November 5th, police say 25-year old Lamar Joseph, known on the street as "Choppa," rode a bike over to the area of 67th Street and SW 58th Avenue where he shot and killed two people.

Police said around the time of the shooting there was an active warrant for his arrest for battery on a pregnant girlfriend.

Joseph's last known address was 9701 SW 162nd Street.
