South Florida Drys Out With Breezy, Chilly Temps

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- After a weekend washout, South Florida is now enjoying dry, chilly and breezy weather starting off the work week.

Monday morning lows tumbled to the low 50s in Broward and Miami-Dade counties in the wake of the front and even colder readings are expected tonight with much of South Florida falling into the 40s.

The average low this time of year is 60 degrees.

After a chilly start, sunshine on Tuesday will help push afternoon highs into the low 70s.

Wednesday should be pleasant with highs in the mid 70s ahead of another breeze spell with passing showers Thursday.

Saturday and Sunday highs rebound to the upper 70s and low 80s for Super Bowl weekend.
