MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- The Trayvon Martin Foundation hosted it's 4th annual Remembrance Weekend featuring music, entertainment and a memorial Peace Walk and dinner.

The event kicked off Saturday morning at Carol City Park in Miami Gardens and was followed by a one mile walk to the Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex at 3000 N.W. 199th Street. A rally and peace talk followed with special guest appearances by Luther Campbell, as well as the parents of Trayvon, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin and other community leaders.

A Remembrance Dinner and awards ceremony was held at the Doubletree by Hilton Miami Airport and Convention Center located at 711 N.W. 72nd Avenue in Miami. A cocktail hour started at 6:30 p.m. with dinner at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for dinner were $80 per person and can be purchased at: trayvonmartinfoundation.org. The walk for peace is free.
