South Florida Community Kicks Off Holiday Season With Lights

MIAMI LAKES (CBSMiami) -- Community members are set to gather Saturday to kick off the Holiday season with a special festival.

South Floridians can join in on the holiday cheer at the 30th Annual Main Street Festival of Lights in Downtown Miami Lakes starting at 6:00 p.m.

Those who attend can watch the tree lighting as well as enjoy plenty of other activities.

There will also be a live DJ, performances by students from local schools and lots of games and prizes.

The little ones or those who just love Santa will also be able see him.

The event lasts until 10:00 p.m.
