Skeletal Remains Found In Ft. Lauderdale Park

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - Human remains have been discovered in a Ft. Lauderdale park.

Police confirm that skeletal remains were found in Delevoe Park, at 2520 NW 6th Street, just north of Broward Boulevard and west of I-95.

Police spokeswoman Det. DeAnna Greenlaw said the discovery was made as part of an ongoing investigation.

The 36-acre neighborhood park shares property with the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center which opened in 2002.

Due to the condition of the skeletal remains, detectives have asked anyone with information regarding this death to call the Broward County Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
