Silver Spurs Rodeo Returns To Kissimmee

KISSIMMEE (CBSMiami/AP) — Ready to rodeo? Well pony up because the biggest rodeo east of the Mississippi is back in central Florida.

The Silver Spurs Rodeo kicked off last Friday in Kissimmee at the Osceola Heritage Park.

The rodeo is being held through Feb. 22 and is offering $100,000 in prizes to competitors.

The rodeo has been held in Osceola County since 1944.
