MIAMI (CBSMiami) — One man was killed, three others injured in weekend shooting in southwest Miami-Dade.

Early Sunday morning, police received reports of shots fired in the area of SW 268th Street and SW 115th Court. When officers arrived they found a Nissan with two people inside.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue pronounced Wagynes Flerilien, 20, dead at the scene. The second male victim was treated for minor injuries and released.

But there was more.

"Basically it was three vehicles involved, possibly 10, 15, maybe even 20 minutes prior to this incident," said Miami-Dade polic spokeswoman Jennifer Capote.

The investigation then lead officers to the area of SW 268th Street and SW 124th Avenue where they found a Nissan Infinity in a canal with two injured people inside.

"Thankfully the passenger and driver of the Infinity are safe although they were shot. They were treated on the scene and released," said Capote.

Police said the third vehicle involved in the shooting fled in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Miami-Dade  at (305) 471-TIPS (8477).
