Senate Passes Child Pornography Measure
TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami/AP) — Florida's Senate has unanimously passed a measure which redefines child pornography under state law.
Under the new definition, child pornography would also include images that are altered to depict actual children's faces or heads on sexual explicit images of adults' bodies.
Republican Sen. Kelli Stargel said her bill was inspired by a case in Polk County where men working with children were taking their pictures and altering them to make it appear as if their faces were on nude bodies.
The measure also bans those convicted on child pornography charges from viewing any pornography while on probation or community supervision.
