Woman In Custody After MIA "Security Incident"

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- The FBI has taken over an investigation involving a woman who allegedly rammed a parked Miami-Dade Police patrol car at the Miami International Airport on Thursday afternoon.
Authorities believe 33-year-old Julissa Magdalena Maradiaga-Iscoa was trying smash through the airport doors at the departure concourse D near the American Airline entrance.

Detective Alvaro Zabaleta, with Miami-Dade Police, said the situation "appears to be a direct attempt to do a security breach through the front door utilizing the vehicle."
Investigators said at this time there appears to be no terroristic ties but Maradiaga-Iscoa was acting irrational and told officers she had a bomb.
"Once they made contact with her she began to, in a high tone, yell in what appeared to be an Arabic language and in English told the responding officers that she had a bomb in her possession," said Zabaleta.
Once officers had Maradiaga-Iscoa in handcuffs, they brought in the bomb sniffing dog to determine if she had any explosives attached to her body.
Police searched her car and found no explosives, but the disruption caused departure area of concourse D to be placed on lock down and evacuated.
Investigators said Maradiaga-Iscoa is from Honduras and are still working to determine if she is in the country legally.
The FBI will file federal charges against Maradiaga-Iscoa who will have an appearance in federal court on Friday.
