Former BSO Deputy Scot Peterson Allowed To Visit Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School To Prepare For Trial

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The defense attorney for fired Broward deputy Scot Peterson, Mark Eiglarsh said that he and his client are allowed back at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School to help assist in Peterson's defense.

Peterson is charged with seven counts of child neglect, three counts of culpable negligence and one count of perjury, but attorney Eiglarsh said Peterson will not be going back into the 1200 building.

"My client has no interest in... Prepare for trial by staying outside."

"My client is the only one... inside the 1200 building, as alleged."

The February 14, 2018 shooting in Parkland left 17 people dead and another 17 injured.
