Salisbury: College Football is Better When UM Isn't 'Being Compared to Central Friggin' Florida'
Firing Al Golden was something that "had to happen," according to one football analyst.
"This is the Miami friggin Hurricanes," Yahoo Sports host and former NFL quarterback Sean Salisbury said on the Big O Show. "This should be a destination spot for recruits, for football fans, and for coaches. You shouldn't have to beg to give this job away."
"College Football is better when the Miami Hurricanes aren't being compared to Central friggin' Florida. Okay? That's the bottom line. No disrespect to them, but this is The U, isn't it? They don't do '30 for 30's' on Slippery Rock! They don't. And that's why it's gotta get fixed."
