MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) – Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio says the U.S. Supreme Court decisions on a key provision of the President's health care law and state bans on gay marriage should not be the final word on either issue.

On Thursday, the court upheld a provision of the health law that lets millions of Americans receive tax subsidies regardless of whether they purchase insurance on the federal or a state-based exchange.

The decision is a setback for the law's opponents.

Campaigning in New Hampshire, U.S. Senator Rubio said he disagrees with the decision and still opposes the health law.

By the end of the month, the court will also issue a ruling on whether states can ban gay marriage. Rubio says state legislatures or voters should decide the issue.
