Rubio Coming To Miami For Jury Duty

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Senator Marco Rubio will be in a Miami-Dade County courtroom Wednesday morning as he reports for jury duty.

The Florida Republican is flying from Washington, DC to Miami on Tuesday afternoon so that he can be at the Richard Gerstein Justice Building at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Rubio's family residence is in West Miami, where he started out his political career as a city commissioner.

Needless to say, serving as a U.S. Senator is a pretty good excuse to get out of jury duty.
